Welcome to Camping Tornio!
SUMMER
You can spend your summer days on the camping site by laying on the soft grass, taking a swim in the fresh waters of the river surrounding the area, or renting a canoe and go paddling while admiring the beauty of nature.
Now we also have a newly build swimming pool area outside, open for use from june 20. to august 31. for a small fee. On the pool area there are plenty of deck chairs to enjoy the sun in, and a bar where you can treat yourself with refreshing drinks, ice cream and salty snacks.
For children we have a large playground with multiple trampolines, and also pedal cars that can be rented from the reception.
In the evening times you can enjoy the luxury of saunas in the maintenance building, that are free to use for everyone staying the night, or have a bonfire in the wicket and just relax.
If you are more into active passtimes, you can easily make a trip to Tornio-Haaparanta city by bicycle or foot to have a shopping spree and enjoy delicious food in the various restaurants of the city centre.
WINTER
Our reception closes on the 30. of september, but it is still possible to stay on the camping by making a reservation for either a caravan place with electricity hook-up or a cabin that is in use for winter.
When the summer season is over by september 30. the public saunas are closed for winter. There is a smaller maintainance building with a shower, toilet and emptying spot for chemical toilet for use on winter time.
You can make a reservation in our online booking-system or via booking.com. We also take reservations via e-mail. We answer the camping phone outside summer season from 10 am to 4 pm everyday.
